It really disappointed me too but it saved me a ton of cash. I was testing Canon's Telephoto EF 300mm f/4.0L IS Image Stabilizer USM Autofocus Lens on the 5d. Most of my shots from those three days fell far short of my expectations. I still dig the pose on the squirrel so I kept the photo. Images of the moon were inferior to what I could do with my 200mmL and the captures at the beach were lackluster as well.

thats really disappointing...
im saving now for a canon ef-s usm 2,8 / 60mm macro (1:1) and a Sigma 70-300mm /4,5-5,6 DG Macro APO...okay not the best on the market...but for this price i think its great...and some fisheye is a must...but for that i'll need as much money like for the two lenses :D

I was out walking in the woods testing a new 400mm tele. I started shooting him as he was digging for acorns. Suddenly he noticed me and stood up. I didn't see him hanging on to the twig until I got home. Too bad I was a long way away and just holding the camera by hand. It's not as sharp as I would have liked. But he's cool anyway. I love his tough, defiant nature.
